Boys and their toys!!

Believe it or not, the highlight of the February meeting was the feeding frenzy that took place over a box of Hall of Fame figures and gear that were being offered for sale at rock bottom prices. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 16 years since the Target Exclusive Duke figure was released, ushering in the return of the 12 inch tall GI Joe was released.

It’s amazing how far our hobby has come since then. The mid 90’s were the glory days, no matter what you were into it could be found with a quick trip to the store or with a few clicks of the mouse. To think how far we have come, only to return to a time and a place where 12 inch GI Joes are a thing of the past...to quote Jerry Garcia “What a long strange trip it’s been”. The good news is that the ride is not over yet, so anything is possible.
